The Neighborhood

A vibrant and vivid neighborhood, yet a quite and cozy appartment.

Find anythng you want within alking distance. On the the busy street of El. Velizelou there's a Masoutis Super Market, IL Forno fantastic bakery (try their awesome begels), Pharmacy, Cafes, and of course city's traditional pastries called bougatsa (sweet with icing sugar and cinammon on top or savor with cheese!!) makes your mouth watering. Few meters away an open paid parking lot (right opposite the school) and of course the harbror area where you can take a leisurely walk from Faliron Park to either Fish market or the Port Terminal. Don't miss to visit open farmers' market on Saturday right outside the Archaeological museum, with fresh products from the local farmers and whaterver you can imagine.

A must - see is the Archaelogical Museum (5 minutes walking distance from the appartment) where you will witness the whole history of this remarkable city from pre-historic times to the early christianity with the visit of Apostle Paul as kavala was the first european ground ever stepped.

Arrival at Melodia House

 How to arrive Melodia House is located at  63 El. Venizelou str, at the centre of Kavala. The part of Venizelou street is one way road, and very tight in parking here are some tips to help you  during your arrival. Right opposite the school there's an open paid parking lot named Agios Ioannis. If you find space to park your car there, the appartmnet is only 50 meters away. Otherwise you can look for parking on the street side but you have to be really lucky. You will also pass by the Municipal Conservatory, a unique landmark for the city, and an architectural marvel. If you see it and admire it, be sure that you almost reached Melodia House. The main entrance of the building is located right next to the cozy bookstore. It is a white door, with signs on the left. Heating Water, Bath, Hair and Iron

Hot water can be used anywhere in the house (kitchen faucet, and bathroom) but since we are verey consistent on saving environment, therfore it is advisable to use resources (water and energy) wisely. In case you need to heat the water for shower or washing the dish, you need to go to the main electric switch board. Open the cover and at your right hand check the following switch. Heating Water Switch Just push the START   button and the boiler will start working. It is adjusted to operate for a specific time so, there's no need to push stop . Please do not make any adjustments on timing by yourself as it can cause problem to main CPU.   Heating the Bathroom  If you feel a little bit cold prior having a shower, you may heat the bathroom and enjoy not only a warm and relaxing shower under the hot water but a warm bathroom also.  Above the door there's a heater that is already programmable for blowing hot air and create a nice atmosphere.
