Arrival at Melodia House

 How to arrive

Melodia House is located at  63 El. Venizelou str, at the centre of Kavala. The part of Venizelou street is one way road, and very tight in parking here are some tips to help you  during your arrival.
Right opposite the school there's an open paid parking lot named Agios Ioannis. If you find space to park your car there, the appartmnet is only 50 meters away. Otherwise you can look for parking on the street side but you have to be really lucky.
You will also pass by the Municipal Conservatory, a unique landmark for the city, and an architectural marvel. If you see it and admire it, be sure that you almost reached Melodia House.
The main entrance of the building is located right next to the cozy bookstore. It is a white door, with signs on the left. Here's a look of the door from the street.

The door is mainly unlocked during working hours. In case the door is locked (during nights and weekends) on the left wall, you will find a safety keyholder with the key in it. The code to open it, will be sent on your e-mail,  whatsapp or viber. This is the safe keyholder.

When you open the door, there are some stairs leading to the elevator. Here's the view of the stairs.

The elevator will take you to the 2nd (second) floor where the appartment is located. Check that you have chosen the proper floor once you entered the elevator.

By exiting the elevator the appartment is on the left, and right opposite the elevator at the corridor is the button for the light. This is how the door of the appartment looks like.

To enter in the appartment you will receive a one time 4 digit code. Once you use this code you will not be able to use it again. Dial the code on the keypad of the access control and push the door to open. Here's the keypad access control.

 When you enter the appartment you will see the main electrical board and the main electricity card switch. If the card is not in the socket, there will be no electricity in the appartment. The card has also attached the RFID key for the door. It is blue and you simply scan it at the red light of the keypad and the door unlocks.

 Make sure to remove and take with you the card all time when you are leaving from the appartment, otherwise you will not be able to enter without the use of the card.

The door is locked all the time. That makes perfectly secure and safe the access to the appartment. Even if a blackout occurs we have make sure the seamless operation of the door lock. 

The door is not opening by itself

You have to press the EXIT button to open the door for anything. It is located on the left side of the door. Push the button and open the door.

The door locks automatically. There's no need of any keys or code.
So bear in mind to have always with you the RFID key to open the door when you leave the appartment
